Movement

Movement should a life long endeavour that has many different phases. It is not a punishment but a luxury that not all bodies are able to do. An appreciation of your body and what it can do. During some phases of life our bodies can end up very limited or very different from what they used to be. This must be honoured and your body needs to be met where it is at.

Female bodies are physiologically different than Male bodies. Female bodies go through natural phases; Pre-puberty, Puberty, Peri-menopause, Menopause and Pregnancy and Postpartum for some. These are all natural but have implications on how our body feels and functions. Movement can support the body through these phases and mitigate some of the possibly negative impacts of the changes.

Movement does not need to be in a gym, box, yoga studio or any other place of fitness. All of those types of places are awesome but if getting to one is a limiting factor know there is lots of other ways to add movement to your life.

My goal is to help support women to include movement in life as they move through different phases.
